July 4 Parade

Craig     Neighborhood Fun         0

Oh boy! It is June and it is getting hot. That can only mean it is a few weeks until the 15th Annual Our Neighbors Independence Day Parade. Thursday July 4th at 10am.

The parade starts around 10 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance, smoke bombs, and a mighty cannon shot at the intersection of Hereford Way and Bar X Drive.

After the parade, we’ll have a number of kid friendly games and activities, such as the beanbag toss, washers, games of skill and balance, water balloons, snow cones, etc. The year we are adding hay rides!!

Around 11:15 or so, we’ll fire up the grills for you to cook your hot dogs, burgers, chicken, sausage, etc. It is BYOM (Bring Your Own Meat). Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Enter the homemade ice cream/sorbet/sherbert contest!

The parade route will be the same as last year: Hereford Way to Mustang to Maverick to West Cow to Branding Chase to Shetland Chase to Pony Chase to Bar X. Those spectators last year with the lemonade and water sprinklers and misters were just fabulous!! How about a repeat performance?

Donations welcomed to help cover the cost of ice, paper goods, etc.
