Fourth of July Parade

admin     Neighborhood Fun         0

Please join your neighbors for a Fourth of July parade! Show your spirit by dressing up and coming out in the heat.

The parade starts with the mighty cannon shot at 10am at the intersection of Hereford Way and Bar X Drive.

After the parade, there will be a number of kid friendly games and activities, such as the beanbag toss, washers, games of skill and balance, water balloons, snow cones, etc.

Around 11:15 or so, we’ll fire up the grills for you to cook your dogs, burgers, chicken, sausage, etc. We’ll have water and lemonade, cups, plates, napkins, and flatware. Bring a side dish to share.  Bring a chair.  Sit a spell.  Visit with your neighbors.

Enter your homemade ice cream in the contest for bragging rights for a year.

We’re still looking for a few some more post-parade activities.  Some ideas are face painting, horseshoes, pin the tail on the donkey, relay game, etc.  If you’re interested, please let us know.
